Another mistake Entrepreneurs make

Another mistake Entrepreneurs make

As a business owner there is often the temptation to recruit family members or friends on the basis that they are a known quantity.
This may fill short-term needs, but it is rarely a sustainable long-term position.
In a young business, you really need employees who are going to perform and add value. If they fail to do that you will have to take decisive remedial action. This is never going to be easy if you have recruited family and friends. Your sense of loyalty may let you run with situations for far too long, before the inevitable happens. This is damaging to your business and also to your personal, intimate relationships.
You need to recruit from the perspective of employees who have the character, attitude and experience your business needs to grow from here to there. This is the way you will move towards and break through to the next levels of success. You need to build your business on a solid foundation, otherwise you will be in a constant cycle of remedial action which will inhibit growth.

Breakthrough for Entrepreneurs

Breakthrough for Entrepreneurs With Transformanceinc

When you are setting up your first company, there is often the attitude that you just set up and don’t worry about putting in place structure and management practices until you really need them.
In my experience if you just plough straight in and delay adopting best practices until you are experiencing real growing pains, the firefighting aspects of the growing pains is much more likely to affect your decision making, resulting in a compromised solution.

I think one of the best pieces of advice is to begin with the end in mind. Start from the perspective of seeing what you will need, as a successful organization and then plan your steps towards it.
The discipline of researching best practice and working out how best to implement it will enable growth, not act as a barrier to it.
